Successful delivery of two independent websites and mobile apps for a new media client in Korea. Proving demonstrable expertise in managing complex projects, navigating regulatory requirements, and driving on-time and on-budget outcomes.
The the deliverables highlighting my contributions:
- Project Directorship: Taking the lead, pulling together internal and external teams, ensuring seamless integration of expertise and resources. My leadership was crucial in maintaining focus and keeping the project on track.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively engaging with various stakeholders, including the client, product and tech teams, and the Korean team. This collaborative approach fostered clear communication and alignment towards common goals.
- Third party supplier sourcing,negotiations and relationships: Sourcing the right third party suppliers for technical and data provision ensuring that we created and maintained excellent working relationships for the successful delivery and ongoing support of the websites.
- Resource and Team Sourcing and Creation: Identifying and sourcing the right talent, including a Korean team for client contact and ongoing operational elements and a Korean editorial content team. This strategic move ensured seamless communication and cultural sensitivity in the project.
- Steering Group Focus, Deliverables, and Accountability: Creating a steering group and providing regular updates kept everyone on the same page, ensuring accountability for tasks and deliverables. This proactive approach ensured timely progress.
- Addressing Local Laws, Compliance, and Security Matters: Diligently navigated local laws, compliance, and security requirements, ensuring that the websites and mobile apps adhered to regulations and protected user data. This diligence safeguarded the project from legal and reputational risks.
- On-Time and On-Budget Delivery: Despite the complexity of the project, the websites and mobile apps were flawlessly delivered on time and within budget
This project provides demonstrable evidence of my expert ability to deliver project management, stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, and regulatory compliance which all played a pivotal role in the success of this significant project. M&A integration of a US acquisition
I was brought into the acquisition process early on to work with the M&A team. I reviewed the operational alignment of the company and its people to establish the best fit for operations and the structures that would be required for a seamless integration into the existing UK & US based teams.
